Imphal, September 30:
An explosive device suspected to be of World War II era recovered from near a Wairi residential area under Kakching police station this afternoon has been safely detonated by police bomb experts.
The bottle-shape bomb was detected on the Sekmai river bank in Wairi Ningthoujam Leikai which is said to be closely located to the residence of one Ningthoujam Gandhar.
