Imphal, August 12:
All Manipur Petroleum Tankers Drivers' Union has appealed for the safe release of Bormani Singh of Yairipok and P Nungnung of Churachandpur, the two LPG tanker drivers who have been abducted by suspected armed underground activists from Gate No I of Assam and Lohorijan on August 3 and 6 respectively.
The whereabouts of the abducted drivers have not been known and they should be set free on humanitarian ground, Union secretary L Nandakumar Singh appealed in a statement.
