Lamka, January 01:
Unidentified robbers crippled more than one hundred and forty telephone lines here as 250 metres of telephone cables were stolen during Christmas and New Year celebrations at various locality.
About 70 meters of cables that passes through the ADC office were cut off about a couple of days back while another 50 meters each on the sidelines of Community Hall and an additional 80 meters at Lamka Cemetry Road were pilfered earlier.
Atleast 145 telephone lines were snapped as a result.
