Imphal, September 26 2009:
Noting that students and youth are the pillars of future generation, the Kuki Inpi Manipur (KIM) has appealed to all concerned student leaders to call off the class boycott and find an alternative positive means to achieve their demands.
A press release issued by the KIM conveyed deep apprehension that continued boycotting of classes in this manner would certainly hamper academic interest of the students which may ultimately leave a negative impact on the thoughts of the students.
It also condemned in the strongest term the dastardly act of the police commandos which killed Thokchom Rabina and Chungkham Sanjit on July 23 .
It further conveyed condolences ad sympathy to the families of the deceased persons as well as the injured victims.
