Tamenglong, August 01 2009:
A team of 13 members including Dr Daisok R Panmei, a representative of American Nagas visited the Zeme Naga displaced people relief camp last July 30 at Mandeu and Aben vilages, reports our correspondent quotingsources from New Hope Ministry.
The team that was led by Dr Daisok, an American Naga provided ration items for the displaced people like rice, dal, Kerosene oil, etc, apart from soaps and medicines during the visit.
The source further informed that the team was concerned about shortage of food and other essential commodities in the relief camps and appealed to the people, NGOs, district administration and the State Government to look address the problem.
