Postulating that one Caleb Injiengam Panmei, who has been selected as agent for RGGLV programme for Tamei subdivision, is a non-resident of Tamei area, the Zeliangrong Baudi (Tamei Zone) has demanded that his selection process be cancelled.
A statement issued by the chairman of ZB (Tamei Zone), Karithon said that the Baudi is very much aware that only permanent residents or persons having permanent plot of land in the location are only eligible for agents under RGGLV.
Pointing out that Caleb Injiengam is a resident of Tarun, Imphal, who is never residing at Tamei headquarters, is not eligible for agent, the ZB demanded that his selection process be cancelled and a fresh invitation for selection of another agent be made by the IOC authority.
It also demanded the concerned BDO, Bogen Singh, who issued fake residential certificate to Caleb, to withdraw and cancel the certificate within 15 days from today (April 13).The Baudi further warned of launching various democratic forms of agitation against the officer who had issued fake residential certificate to Caleb if he fails to annul or cancel the certificate within the specified date.
