Elizabeth clarified that the van service operators were informed to deposit a refundable amount of Rs 3000 and registration fee of Rs 1500 only in the interest of the students.
The matter was also discussed with the Van service providers.
She said the school authority adopted the decision as a measure to ease the hardships faced by the students due to overcrowding of students in student transporting vans.
It has also been neccesitated in order to prescribe some dos and don't to the Van service operators following numerous complaints lodged by parents and guardians.
Clarifying that the deposited amount of Rs 3000 is refundable, the Principal said that the remaining amount is planned to be used in time of emergency.
