Imphal, July 18:
Adding to the woes of the people of Senapati district, who are already feeling the brunt of landslides and mudslides during the last few days, the mighty Barak River today suddenly changed its course near Lairounching affecting standing crops.
SDO of Tadubi informed The Sangai Express that the over flowing water of the river has already swept away standing crops affecting 50 to 100 hectares of agricultural land near Willong village.
