Following numerous complaints that LPG dealers are selling filled LPG cylinders below their weight to the customers, the Sales officer, LPG, Talukdar has informed all to first weigh the filled cylinder at the dealers' place as it is mandatory for all dealers to have weighing machines.
The weight of a filled LPG cylinder is supposed to be 14.2 kgs, Talukdar said and added that if there is any discrepancy in the weight then he may be contacted on mobile number 9436609728.The officer has advised the consumers to see whether their filled LPG cylinders weigh correctly or not.
