Endorsing the demand of the Survivors Action for Human Rights for a free detoxification and rehabilitation centre at Moreh, the Kuki Students' Organisation (KSO), Moreh Block has appealed to the Government to fulfil the charter of demands mentioned in the memorandum submitted to the Chief Minister on December 22 last year.
Asking for revival of the Moreh de-addiction centre at the earliest, the KSO cautioned that it would be constrained to take up a series of agitation in a democratic way in the near future in case the Government fails to pay heed to the appeal, conveyed a KSO release.
The Kha-Nongpok Apunba Nupi Lup, Moreh has also pledged support to the same demands of the Survivors Action for Human Rights.
Stressing on the importance of opening a rehabilitation centre at Moreh, the Kha-Nongpok Apunba Nupi Lup, in a press release, urged upon the authority concerned for the same while also declaring to launch various forms of non-violent agitation if the Government fails to consider the demands positively at the earliest.
