Following the constitution of Central Committee of the KCP at its second National Congress, the previous letter head of the outfit would be replaced by a new one, said a press release issued by the Information and Publicity secretary H Poirei of KCP.
The restrictions imposed upon itself by the outfit since May 8 this year has been lifted and it would relaunch all activities related to its financial matters using the signature and the name of its Finance Secretary in-charge Lankhomba with immediate effect, informed the release.
However, there would be no change in the party's stand to exclude private individuals from the renewed fund drive campaign, it mentioned.
Another press release issued by the Assistant Secretary Information and Publicity (KCP) M Nongthang had denied any connection between the outfit and Leishangthem Kumar of Pukhao Terapur, Karam Nanao alias Romen of Wangkhei Lourembam Leikai, Wangkheirakpam Suresh alias Abung of Soibam Leikai Khamlabung Leirak and Ngasam Biren of Khurai Thingom Leikai arrested by police commandos and AR on November 23 as KCP cadres.
Rather, it said that the individuals were sycophants trying to tarnish the image of KCP.
Saying that the outfit took serious note of such individuals indulging in intimidation and robbery from public in their own personal interest in the name of the outfit, it declared that actions would be initiated to eliminate such elements working to rubbish the ideals of the party.
While appealing to the parents and guardians to reprimand and advise such individuals against involving themselves in anti-party activities, it asked the people not to blame the outfit when it awards capital punishment to these people in case they fail to mend their ways.
