AR conducts pension adalat for Ex-servicemen

Imphal, November 23 2014:
The 26 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South) organised a Pension Adalat for ex-servicemen of the Armed Forces on November 22.The Adalat was chaired by Brigadier Rajiv Chhibber, Commander 26 Sector Assam Rifles during which views and grievances of ex-servicemen were addressed.
Brigadier Rajiv Chhibber interacted with the ex-servicemen and explained them about various rallies for ex-servicemen, various pension benefits, services etc.
The Commander also informed ex-servicemen that the pension department has introduced free software called Suvigya which gives the details of current pension payable to ex-servicemen and welfare activities for the ex-servicemen and their families.
Ex-servicemen expressed gratitude for conducting such an Adalat as it boosted their morale and gave them an opportunity to share their views.
They requested that such Adalats may be conducted at regular intervals as it provides them platform for grievance redressal.
In the end, Commander assured ex-servicemen for all assistance and speedy action in resolving their issues.
