The size of the State Plan allocation for the fiscal, 2007-08 would be finalised during a joint meeting between Chief Minister O Ibobi Singh and Deputy Chairman of Union Planning Commission Montek Singh Alluwalia at New Delhi on March 26.Disclosing to The Sangai Express, an official source said finalisation of the State Plan size which has been delayed due to election process of the State Assembly would be done on March 26.During the meeting, the State Government would be projecting a plan size of Rs 1700 crores with special emphasis on health, education, agriculture and infrastructural development.
The source further disclosed that above 60 percent of Plan allocation for the current financial year have been utilised.
The State Cabinet is also likely to take a decision on the Central Plan Assistance today, the source added.
