CPI national secretary CK Chandrapana today said that the grievances facing by the people of the country can be solved only when non-Congress and non-BJP government form by the third come to power.
CK Chandrapana who attended a lecturer programme organized by Left Co-ordination Committee, Manipur at Irabot Bhavan today further observed that only the third front can give all round development and flawless government to the people.
Criticizing the BJP, he said, the then BJP led government at the Centre was blocked from coming to power again by the people as the party failed to take up various developmental and welfare schemes and projects which they promised to implement at the time of election.
In the same manner, UPA government also could not perform well to the developmental and welfare schemes and projects.
Even though, UPA had promised various developmental and welfare schemes included in the common minimum programme could not implement.
He also recounted that at the last session of the Parliament, UPA had expressed of having no time to implement various schemes and projects related with agriculture and solving unemployment.
BJP and Congress used to buy MPs of various states by giving crores of Rupees.
Such practice hindering in taking up various activities, he observed adding that in such conditions people want to bring a change.
Congress will face heavy defeat in Orissa as the party remained silent when atrocities were meted out to the Christians.
BJP and Congress will win three seats each only in Bihar.
So, it is sure left party to come to power as per people's mandate.
The candidate, Dr M Nara, candidate of the left party which took a major role in the inclusion of the Meeteilon (Manipuri) in the eighth schedule of the Indian Constitution will win the election from the inner seat of Manipur, he added.
Giving reply on AFSP Act, Dr Nara who also attended the programme recalled and said CPI had and has been campaigning for the repeal of the Act since long.
In connection with the issue, he himself was in jail and the lifting of the Act from the Imphal Municipality area was as per the pressure given by the party to its coalition partner Congress in the SPF government.
Giving comment on the demand of the re-poll at some polling stations in the recently concluded elections to the Inner Manipur Parliamentary election, Nara said the elections was not conducted with free and fairs.
The same is well known to the people of the state.
