The Kangleipak Communist Party (KCP) has celebrated its 29th Anniversary on April 14 last at the party's General Headquarters with the Deputy Chief of Army Staff, Kriti as the Chief Guest and the CO in-charge of the 11th Training Centre (TC), 2nd Lt L Khuman as the president a release of the outfit said.
The observation function was attended by officers, NCOs and party's Meeyamgei Fingang Lanmee (MFL).
Speaking on the occasion, the Dy CAS Kriti said that the MFL of the party are elated that all factions of the KCP were united on October 20, 2006 with the initiative of the UNLF, KYKL and PREPAK by organising a Congress.
He said that the KCP (MC) is a group formed by the Army to break relations and a stooge to cast the militants as terrorist groups.
He said the group hadn't turned up on the party Congress in 2006 .
Kriti said that the MFL of the party is able to survive at various places with the support from the people.
Now other parties have recognized the KCP as an established party while attributing it to the efforts of the MFL.
Kriti said that numerous innocent lives have been lost at the hands of the Indian Army and the police commandos who killed and later branded them a member of a party.
Kriti also said that the killing incidents will happen no more when the Indian Army leave the independent Kangleipak.
Advocating against the use of intoxicants, Kriti also extolled the people to give emphasis on games and sports and to preserve the traditional games of the land.
Kriti also expressed contentment over the production of various produces by the MFL women cadres.
He also said that the outfit is struggling to become well prepared to fight the Indian army.
The Dy CAS also unfurled the seven-colour flag of the party while the MFL cadres offered the salute.
Paying homage to the departed comrades of the party by observing two minutes silence, and joint eating, marked the observation programme.
