A fake employee of the Education department has been sent to jail today following an order of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Imphal which remanded the person into judicial custody for 15 days.
The person who forged an order of the Director of Education (S) and worked as arts graduate teacher in the Education department is Arambam Gouranityai (49), son of A Kullachandra of Khurai Sajor Leikai, Imphal East.
He is said to be enjoying salaries for a long time as arts graduate teacher at O Gokulchand Higher Secondary School through fake appointment order.
The Deputy SP of Vigilance police had instructed the OC of Vigilance Police to file a case against Arambam Gouranityai following the investigation on fake appointment in the education department in 2006.Accordingly, an FIR case was registered with the Vigilance Police Station under Section 420/468/471/120-b of IPC.
He was remanded into 15 days judicial remand as per a petition filed by Inspector of Vigilance police, PS Vaiphei.
The order was issued by Chief Judicial Magistrate, Imphal, BK Sharma today.
According to the petition filed by the Vigilance police, A Gouranityai had cheated the government by joining as arts graduate teacher at O Gokulchand Higher Secondary School under ZEO-I, Imphal West through fake appointment order on June 24, 1991.He had enjoyed monthly salaries and other allowances during the period.
The vigilance police found that Gouranityai is placed at serial number 7 in the regularisation order lists by replacing a teacher of Pherzawl High School, V Khaihen.
The fake documents in this regard were also found.
