As political parties, both regional and national shift, their focus to Churachandpur where the third phase of polling will be held on February 23, two regional giants, Manipur Peoples� Party and Mizo National Front share a common platform in a bid to bring a fresh politician to power.
Big-wigs of Manipur Peoples� Party, the party that has already blown its poll trumpet in the concluded phases, today attended a gathering of the party�s nominee in 59-Saikot AC, Dr Jainson Haokip and pleaded favour from the people.
MPP leaders in addition, plead for candidates of National People Party along side their counterparts in Mizoram � the Mizo National Front.
N Chandramani, president of MPP outline the various goals his party will sweat for while addressing a gathering of Dr Jainson supporters, Dr Nimaichand Luwang on the other pledge to completely repeal AFSPA and bestow both Sadar Hills and Jiribam with a full fledge district status at a public meeting attended by former Mizo National Army within the premises of NPP Candidate Langakhanpau Guite Head Office.
Two high command of the erstwhile Mizo National Front that has now been christen as MNA, arrives here later in the evening allegedly to assist Lankhanpau and his associates in mandating public consent.
Sharing a platform with their counterpart right from the onset of their mission, C Zama and Rodianliana were here to stay, for now.
Meanwhile, Ram Vilas Paswan, the national president of Lok Janshakti Party is again set to address a public meeting at Rengkai Public Ground here tomorrow at 12:30 pm.
Last week Paswan had already addressed a gathering at Tuibuang under Saikot AC and at M Songgel AC under Henglep AC.
Union Minister BK Handique and AICC observer R Thomas had also campaign for the incumbent MLA of Saikot AC TN Haokip yesterday.
