KCP MC throws down gauntlet before UNLF-II
Source: The Sangai Express

Imphal, March 08: After his approach was rejected, Samu got in touch with Nando who is still in jail, an accused the kidnapping and killing of Elizabeth and started working under the name of KCP (MC), said the statement.

Using the name of KCP (MC), Samu tied up with the 19 AR post at Yainganpokpi to carry out his anti-revolutionary activities, alleged the statement and added that anyone can confirm by contacting one Tiger of the AR through mobile numbers 9436032142, 9862275912 and 03852427773. Stating that such element is detrimental to whole revolutionary movement, KCP (MC) urged all other groups both in the hills and plain not associate with Samu or give him shelter.

Lanheiba further said that today the KCP has splintered into many factions because of the undue interference in the internal as well as external affairs of the outfit by others.

The KCP formed on April 13, 1980 is today in such a state, because it provided shelter to Oken in 1989 when the UNLF fractured into two group, asserted the statement and added that the KCP (MC) was formed to with the strong belief that today it has enough strength to march forward and work towards an egalitarian society.

Till date, the KCP (MC) has not taken up action on personal issues, said the statement and added that there is no connection in any way between the killing of Mutum Brojen (30) and central finance secretary of the outfit, Ng Khelen and his wife Mutum ningol Reena.

The KCP (MC) had earlier suspected that the killing of Brojen had something to do over some indifferences with one L Enildo Meitei of Mongsangei.

Enildo is married to the elder sister of Brojen and is currently staying at the natal home of his wife, said Lanheiba.

Or else, the outfit strongly suspected that it could have been master minded by Samu alias Mangoljao.

The question is why Reena allowed her younger brother to be eliminated, said the statement and added that it was the handiwork of some villains and such action pertaining to family feud should not be associated with any revolutionary movement.

Going further, the statement said that KCP (MC) strongly condemns the mass killing of KCP cadres from March 4 to 7 on the Indo-Myanmar border under the excuse of conduction a court martial.

It was against human rights, asserted the outfit and questioned why capital punishment was awarded without any concrete proof.

It is to protest the mass killing, that KCP (MC) decided to observe March 7 as anti-mass killing day, asserted the outfit and added that such gross violation of human rights was executed, since Noyon joined the UNLF.

Noyon was Laba and now he has been christened as Senggoi Meitei by the UNLF, alleged Lanheiba and added that he was expelled by the UNLF in May 1997, on drug and ganja related charges.

After his expulsion, he was sent to the KCP by the UNLF as its agent to destroy the outfit, it charged.

Noyon was arrested while he was on his way to Moreh from Imphal by the 24 Assam Rifles at Khudengthabi on October 19, 2006, recalled the statement and countered why such a closely kept secret came to the knowledge of Leibakmacha, who was accused of ticking off the AR.

On the other hand, Noyon, it is not an easy matter that Noyon, who earlier failed to respond to the summon of the outfit, should be arrested so easily by the Assam Rifles on the Imphal-Moreh route, it said.

On the charges that Leibakmacha was instrumental in the killing of captain Tombi and Pvt Mithai by the 24 Assam Rifles on the border area on December 24, 2006, the outfit maintained that the charges ring hollow.

Explaining, the statement said that if the party president (Leibakmacha) had wanted to eliminate them in any way, he could have done in his capacity as a leader of the outfit and need not take the help of the Assam Rifles.

After due investigation, the KCP (MC) has established that the charge that Khelen alias Gopen is working under the Assam Rifles and Army is wrong.

Khelen is not in any way connected with the outfit, the statement said the he in fact was a member of the KYKL and he had submitted his resignation papers on June 27, 1997.He was however forced by the KYKL to rejoin the outfit and ultimately he deserted outfit in 1999. Khelen is not a man to surrender to the security forces and live under their diktats, claimed the statement and asked the UNLF to proof that he had surrendered to the security forces.

Dubbing the UNLF as a mafia, the statement said that such wrong information and propaganda spread by them exposes their true self.

Ever since the UNLF took over KCP and installed the puppet Noyon as its president, the KCP has forgotten to observe the National Black Day to remember the killing of Baji Ibohanbi on July 1, 1995. Going on the offensive against the UNLF, KCP (MC) said that the UNLF was involved in the murder of KRA chief, Khuplam Hangshing at Delhi by hiring a BSF personnel Malkit Singh.

Isn't this proof that the UNLF is working in cahoots with the security forces, said the statement.

Not only the fact that UNLF cadres are taking shelter at the bungalows of Ministers and MLAs, who represent India, proves that it is a political agent of India, claimed the statement.

Recalling the statement made by the Chief Minister with regard to the KCP (MC) on the floor of the Assembly as well as the nefarious agenda launched by the UNLF to kill the cadres of the outfit, shows that the Chief Minister and the UNLF maintain close links, it alleged further.

Pillorying the UNLF further, the outfit said that its cadres were involved in the mass rape women in Lungthulien and Parbung on January 16, 2006, charged the KCP (MC).

The Rajkhowa Commission had also nailed the UNLF, said the outfit and added that a crime is a crime irrespective of whether it is committed against hill or valley people.

Claiming that the KCP (MC) is firm in its decision, the statement said that its fight against the UNLF should not be seen as one between people of the same stock but as a fight against rapists and mafia.

It also accused the UNLF of dividing the people along communal line.
