Imphal, April 18: Hajarimajum Anil, a member of Effective Television, the NE TV's Imphal News Bureau, reportedly sustained a critical head injury when he was assaulted by a person yesterday evening.

According to report, Anil was hit by an empty soft drink bottle from behind by the assailant identified as RK Dennis of Thangmeiband, while he was taking a break from his official assignment along with a friend at Blue Moon Hotel, Thangal Bazar yesterday at about 6.30 in the evening.
