The UKLF called upon the general public to join hands and hunt out the murderers and give them appropriate
punishment.
The UKLF expressed shock that the lifeless body of the chief was thrown away in the jungle of Pasong village.
Asserting that such murder should not recur in future, the UKLF cautioned the people in the hill areas to take all possible precautionary measures to protect the lives of the village chiefs from anti-social elments.
The UKLF also appealed to the civil society organisations and public leaders to take a pro-active role rather than remaining as silent spectators.
The UKLF urged the authority concerned to take up necessary action and punish those guilty.
