All Manipur Students' Union (AMSU) has rejected the reported statement of Education Minister, who urged the AMSU to withdraw the indefinite class boycott call in view of the human resource of the state.
A statement issued by AMSU today asserted that to the students' body 'human resource' doesn't imply only to students, but all the people of the state are included within its meaning of human resource.
Asserting that though AMSU has been striving to bring valuable human resource in the state, the statement reminded the adage 'it is more important to pay attention to the house on fire than studying'.
It also reminded the people that there were many students who could not pursue their studies in the victims' family and localities of the July 23 incident in particular and other fake encounters.
It urged the guardians', teachers' associations, and government teachers to take active part in the class boycott agitation.
It stated that the unfortunate incidents could also happen to everyone.
Further, the statement warned of intensified agitation in case the efforts to arrest AMSU activists are not stopped immediately.
Education Minister yesterday appealed to the student body to withdraw their class boycott stir considering for the students.
