Imphal, February 20 2009: A victim of a road mishap who had been undergoing treatment at Shija Hospital and Research Institute succumbed this afternoon.

The 20 year old youth identified as Khundongbam Mocha (20) s/o Nilamani of Malom Awang Leikai had been undergoing treatment at Shija Hospitals after he was knocked down by a diesel auto-rickshaw at Nambol Thongkha along Imphal-Churachandpur road at about 7.30 pm of February 17 .

He was walking back home after watching a movie along with some of his friends.

Police have seized the auto-rickshaw.

The corpse has been handed over to family members after post mortem at RIMS today.
