Imphal, September 28 2009:
JAC constituted against the killing of Professor Md Islamuddin drew attention of the MU Vice-Chancellor and Chief Minister O Ibobi in connection with the assurance given to the JAC and the bereaved family.
A press release of the JAC said that the Government has not yet fulfilled the demand of the JAC of giving an A-Grade employment and other benefits to next to kin of the slain Professor.
The JAC further cautioned the VC and CM to take up necessary action to fulfil the said demands before people initiate agitation.
