Imphal, September 28 2009:
In addition to the ongoing 'suspend education' movement, the AMSU, MSF and the KSA have geared to launch a new campaign targeting Government offices, said a joint statement issued by the three student bodies.
It said that the students bodies were prepared to cripple all government machinery.
The AMSU, MSF and KSA would also use all their strength to enforce the call of the Apunba Lup for suspension of all construction activities of the Government.

Announcing that schools defying the call to suspend education would be banned from 2010 session, it appealed to all school authorities to tackle the issue with maturity.
Chief Minister O Ibobi might have thought that the current people's movement was another normal protest movement.
But with the movement refusing to die down even after two months, Ibobi has started to show his true colour.
The student bodies even compared O Ibobi to Hitler and Manipur to the Nazi supremo's concentration camp.
For all his faults and offences, Chief Minister Okram has been surrounded from all directions by all sections of the people, it asserted.
With nowhere to run, Okram Ibobi is now using some IRB personnel attached to commandos, a few chosen police officers and some people of two villages located within his own constituency as his shield.
After prolonged imposition of curfew and additional power given to police force have failed to suppress the people's movement, the Government suspended some commandos.
But this could not quell the people's wrath.
Then Ibobi ordered a Judicial Enquiry in place of Magisterial enquiry.
Even then, there was no sign of the people's movement subsiding.
Then the Government started arresting and detaining leaders of the movement under NSA.
The Government further went on to pulled up aged parents of student leaders.
Maintaining that they would not change their stand adopted earlier until the people's demands are fulfilled, the AMSU, MSF and KSA clarified that it was misplaced notion if any one was thinking that the ongoing class suspension movement would be called off on certain understanding after sometime.
They asserted that they would continue with their movement under the Apunba Lup until and unless Chief Minister O Ibobi resigns and the guilty commandos punished.
Saying that the situation has become a keen tussle between the two sides (the government and the people), the student bodies called upon those individuals and groups who are not yet involved in the movement to give their opinions with a vision.
In case the AMSU, MSF and KSA commit the blunder of calling off their movement before realising the people's demands, then the student bodies would have no moral authority to exist in Manipur.
There is no point on which the Government and the protesters can come to an understanding.
As such, any individual or group appealing to work for a comprised agreement sounds absurd.
Rather they should join the people's movement and raise their voice demanding resignation of Ibobi.
Until Ibobi is toppled from his seat, students of Manipur may have the disadvantage of forgoing their studies not only this year but also 2010 and even 2011, the student bodies said.
Describing Ibobi's tenure as a 'dark period', the student bodies appealed to all concerned not to organise any entertainment programmes except the very essential ones.
