The All Manipur District Council Teachers' Association today expressed disappointment on the non-clearance of five months pending salary for the teachers of the schools under the district councils.
The employees of the six district councils are not getting their salaries from June to October of this current year due to negligence of the chief executive officers of the ADCs even though government orders had allowed for payment of monthly salaries upto the month of October on the occasion of Ningol Chakouba.
The body alleged that the non-completion of NIC/MGEL and lack of transparency in the preparation/submission of MGEL list which is concerned to the employees in respect of the six hill district council behind the pending of salaries.
The matter of the non-completion of preparation of MGEL and non-clearance of salaries for five months and pension benefits of the employees of ADC was discussed in a meeting of the association held today at ADC house, Chingmeirong, a statement signed Tual Khanlal, general secretary said.
