S Tomba & Sons Integrated Fish Farming Pvt Ltd, Ningombam, a leading producer of Pengba (Osteobrama Belangeri) in Manipur has submitted a memorandum to the Chief Minister complaining against leaving out the immovable assets of the pisciculture farm from the survey in connection with land acquisition for expansion of the airport.
In the memorandum, S Surchandra Singh and S Dhanabir Singh, both son of S Tomba Singh who is the National and State Awardee in Pisciculture pointed out that immovable assets of the farm including fist farm house, chowkidar shed, store room cum godown, office room, pig shed, chow-shed, circular hatchery with cemented reservoir tank, overhead tank (for fish breeding) as well as horticulture properties and approach road of the farm which were constructed since inception of the pisciculture farm in 1981 have been left out from the survey.
Therefore, the memorandum urged for a proper resurvey.
