Imphal, January 10 2009:
Asserting that the new price of taking photostat copies as fixed by the All Manipur Self Employed Photostat Association lacks justification, DESAM has appealed to the association to reconsider their decision and revise the cost of taking photostat copies in the interest of student community.
A press release issued by DESAM noted that the new prices of taking photostat copies fixed at Rs 2 for A-4 and Legal, Rs 4 for A-3 and Rs 3 for B-4 would be a big burden to students, majority of whom belong to Below Poverty Line families.
It also appealed to the association concerned to revise the newly fixed prices of taking photostat copies.
