Imphal, January 10:
In an apparent boost for members of the Manipur Health Services, who desire to undergo further studies or rather go in for post graduate studies in their chosen field of specialisation, the State Government has decided to allow members of the MHS, who have not yet completed five years of service to appear for the PG entrance test.
Earlier the stipulation was that employees of the Manipur Health Services should have put in at least five years of service for them to be eligible to appear for the PG entrance examination.
A highly placed source informed the press that the Govt has decided to do away with the earlier five year rider and allow MHS members to appear for the PG entrance test.
A notification issued by the State Health authority on January 7 this year spelt out the decision of allowing MHS employees who have not yet completed five years of service to appear for the PG entrance test and undergo PG courses if successful in the entrance examination.
The last date for submitting the prescribed forms for appearing in the PG entrance test is January 15.
