Though the tension between the people of Kwakta Sandhong and Kwakta over last night's incident of molesting a woman of Kwakta Sandhong by a man from Kwakta has subsided, people of Kwakta Sandhong are reportedly still apprehensive of passing through the densely populated Kwakta area.
Restriction under CrPC 144 is still is in force to prevent any untoward incidents and security personnel alert.
One Thongbam Shyamkishore of Kwakta Sandhong who was allegedly assaulted brutally and left to die at a crematory ground of by the people of Kwakta in the last night incident was admitted to Shija Hospital last night itself.
He is stated to be out of danger.

The man who has been charged of molesting the woman has been identified as Md Salim (35) of Kwakta Umbu Leikai.
In connection with the last night's incident and to ensure mutual coexistence, a joint public meeting of both the groups was held today morning at the ground of Kwakta Sandhong Youth Welfare Association.
Member of Kwakta Zilla Parishad, Pradhan of Kwakta Gram Panchayat and social workers were among those attended the meeting during which the people of Kwakta Sandhong demanded to produce the accused Md Salim for giving befitting punishment as well as those who are responsible for giving false alarm of killing Salim though the loud speaker of the local masjid and those who are behind the brutal assault on Shyamkishore last night.
According to member of Kwakta Zilla Parishad A Samad, accused Md Salim has similar past records of molesting women and young girls.
Since he is a threat to the peaceful coexistence, there has been discussion on banishing him from the area.
He also informed that in the meeting today, both sides agreed to take up necessary legal action and punish any anybody found guilty in the last night incident, whether they be from Kwakta Sandhong or from Kwakta.
