The State Government has lifted the ban imposed on releasing the salaries and pensions including the arrears and retirement benefits of its employees upto the month of May.
Issuing an order in this regard today in suppression of all previous orders regarding restriction/ban imposed on encashment of cheques/bills, etc, Under Secretary (FR) S Chinglensana Singh said the State Government has now decided to allow certain categories of payments including the salaries and pensions upto to the month of May.
The categories of payments for which the ban has been lifted included ration money, medical advances and reimbursements, ex-gratia and relief payments, GPF, honorarium for ICDS staff, all bills pertaining to Raj Bhavan, Assembly Secretariat, High Court and MPSC, grant-in-aid bills, bills pertaining to electricity and water charges, payment of interest and repayment of loans availed by the State Govt, etc.
