The recent Government order (No.46/12/2005/ED (V) dated 05/02/2005 has created unrest among many teachers, the memorandum said.
Elaborating on the grievances of the teachers, the memorandum observed that teachers who are to be retired within the text few months have been transfer to remote areas and many others who have been recently relieved from prolonged service at hill schools have been re-posted in the hill areas again.
The memorandum also complained against transferring of teachers from high schools to junior and primary schools.
The primary and Lower Primary teachers are also posted at schools which are very far off from their respective villages, the memorandum observed.
Moreover, the teachers who have been promoted to headmaster in-charge after long years of service are losing their opportunity as they are being transferred to another school as mere teachers.
