69 Battalion of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) received hearty gratitude from various villagers for gifting them television sets, computer sets and musical instruments.
The CRPF distributed altogether 23 television sets, five computer sets and musical instruments worth around Rs 8 lakhs to the villagers of Taobam village , Sangrung village, Awangkhul village, Okoklong village, Rengpang village, Punglam village, Puching village, Ramgailong village, Thingou village, Taodaijang village, Namkaoluang village, Tamlok village, Nungnang village, Bolongdai, Rengpang-2 and Rengpang-3 villages.
The gift distribution event was organized at Taobam (Irang) village where Deputy Commissioner Tamenglong Jacintha Lazarus attended as Chief Guest.
Commanding Officers of the 69th CRPF and the 172nd CRPF and the Sub-divisional Officer Tamenglong C Arthur W, IAS also attended.
Acham Kamei, Secretary of Sangrung Village Authority while thanking the CRPF for their good gesture has assured of positive cooperation to the Central force in keeping peace and development in the area.
Another press release by Manager of one musical Chariumun also said that the band has been toiling very hard to own musical instruments since long time back and thank the 69 CRPF for realizing their dreams through Civic Action Program.
Moreover, the President of Blooming for the Lord and be bright, BLB also expressed their gratitude to the CRPF for their help to the band.
