State's junior girls' football team gave goalless Rajashtan a stunning defeat in their second match of cluster III to enter the quarter final round of the 8th Girls' Junior National Football Championship, 2009-10 which was began from November 24 last at Cuttack, Orissa.
It may be recalled that Manipur defeated Rajasthan 18-0 in the first match of cluster III.
Rajasthan was supposed to play with Karanataka today.
But the withdrawal of Karanataka from the championship left only Manipur and Rajasthan in cluster III and the second leg of the qualifying round was played between Manipur and Rajasthan today.
In today's match Manipur girls defeated goalless Rajasthan with sixteen goals and entered the quarter final round.
Once again showing its dominating nature, Manipur junior girls dominated the whole match giving Rajasthan girls no chance to stand against them and won the match.
On the other hand Rajasthan players found it impossible to stand firm and defend themselves against the various attacks of formidable
Manipur girls.
Bina scored the first goal of Manipur in the 8th minute of the match.
She later scored another two goals in the 26th and 61st minutes.
Rita scored three goals in the 30th, 32nd and 62nd minutes.
Pramodini scored four goals in the 23rd, 66th, 74th and 79th minutes.
Rinaroy scored two goals in the 27th and 52nd minutes.
Premee, Santhalembi, Tejibala and Chanchan also scored one goal each against Rajasthan in the 12th, 49th, 75th and 81st minutes of the match.
