Imphal, March 01 2009:: After postponing at various moments the 3rd Manipur State League organised by the All Manipur Football Association (AMFA) has resumed today with six match today at different venues.

The first match today was played between USA, Khurai and MPSC at THAU ground as home ground of MPSC.

MPSC defeated USA 1-0 in a tough match and won the match.

The only goal of the match was scored by Th Rohen of MPSC in the 65th minute of the match.

On the other hand no players of USA could score a single goal against MPSC. In another match played between YWC, Thambalkhong and NEROCA, Sangakpham at THAU ground as home ground of NEROCA, YWC beat NEROCA 2-1.They played the match with almost equal skills and tactics. Although NEROCA got defeated, they scored the first goal of the match in the 5th minute of the match.

The goal was scored by M Ibochouba.

The two goals of YWC were scored by W Daniel and L Sumin in the 24th and 28th minute of the match.

Th Vandana of YWC was issued a yellow card for his unsporting behavioure during the match. In another match today, TRAU, Kwakeithel and ESU, Wangkhei at Khuman Lampak Main Stadium, Imphal as the home ground of ESU both teams played a drawn match with scores 2-2.Both teams played the match with firm determination to win the match.

Full coordination among the players of each team can be seen in the match. The two goals of ESU were scored in the 35th and 39th minute of the match by K Rocky and S Heman respectively.

On the other hand the two goals of TRAU were scored by Kh Somananda and N Jashobanta in the 43rd and 55th minute of the match.

Md Shabir Ali of TRAU was issued a yellow card by the centre referee for his unsporting behaviour during the match. TRUGPU, Nambol deeated its opponent PYC, Phoudel 3-1 in another match at the home ground of PYC which was played at Kodompokpi Sports Complex.

TRUPGU played the match dominantly from the begining.M Sudhiranjan of TRUGPU scored the first goal of the match in the 5th minute of the match.

In pursuit to equalise the score position, Md Sabir of PYC scored one goal agianst TRUGPU in the 11th minute of the match.

It was the only goal of PYC in the match.On the other hand, L Ibotomba of TRUGPU scored two goals against PYC in the 54th and 85th minute of the match.

The match concluded with TRUGPU winning by two goals. In another match played at Mini Stadium, Bishnupur as the home ground of NLYC, Churachandpur, NISA, Thangmeiband defeated NLYC 3-1.Th Santosh of NISA scored the first goal of the match in the 15th minute of the match.

The other two goals of NISA were scored by S Herojit and Pritam in the 58th and 76th minute of the match. On the other hand the only goal of NLYC was scored by Kimminthang in the 74th minute of the match.

The match concluded with NISA winning by two goals.

Rabi of NISA was issued a yellow card by the referee for his unsporting vbehaviour during the match. The sixth match today was played between SSU, Singjamei and AMOFA, Moirang at Mini Stadium, Bisnhupur as the home ground of AMOFA.

The match concluded draw with scores 1-1 for both teams. L Tiken scored the only goal of SSU in the 3rd minute of the match.

The only goal of AMOFA was scored by Kh Sobha in the 23rd minute of the match.

No further goals were scored by both teams till the end of the match. The match concluded as a drawn match.

L Indramani of SSU and E Abocha of AMOFA were issued a yellow card each for their unsporting conduct during the match.
