Imphal, July 06 2009: The Tangkhul Aze Katamnao Long (TAKL), the southern Tangkhul students' organisation, strongly condemned the culprits who attempted to murder Mrs SP Worlingla of Kasom Khullen, in Ukhrul District on May 28 last after molesting and brutally beating her up in a statement issued by the Secretary of TAKL, Shimthar Jajo.

The statement also appreciated the co-operations extended by various NGOs, Civil Societies, Government and Individuals in bringing justice to the incident after which two culprits were able to be arrested on June 25, 2009 last.

Questioning the concerned investigating agency, police station and OC of Kasom Khullen on its extreme slow and negligence in booking the real culprits, TAKL strongly demanded speedy process of investigation so that justice is delivered on time.

TAKL will take up further agitation if the state government fails to deliver justice on time said the statement.

TAKL also condemned the recent incident of placing a bomb at the residential gate of a Senior Scientist in Environment and Ecology Department, Preshaw Shimray at Nagaram on July 04 last and fervently appealed to every section of the society to condemn against such inhuman and barbaric actions.
