Imphal, July 04: The proscribed PREPAK has refuted any connection whatsoever between the outfit and Thongam Raju alias Anand s/o Sanayaima of Tentha Khunou Bazar arrested by troops of 34 AR with the allegation of being a Sergeant Major in the PREPAK.

Thongam Raju alias Anand is an innocent married man having three children, earning his livelihood by pulling rickshaws.

Such act of levelling false and fabricated allegations against innocent civilians is an open ploy of security forces to give some sort of legitimacy to their atrocities, remarked the outfit's Thoubal District commander Rocky Meitei.
