Imphal, December 02: Social and Economic Development Organisation, Hiyanglam has clarified that one Elangbam Sanayaima (27) s/o E Inaocha that the personnel of 21 Assam Rifles posted at Keirak claimed to have arrested on November 29 last has no connection with any underground organisation.

In a statement, secretary general of the Organisation Bishwanath Elangbam said Sanayaima is an innocent person who does any jobs available for livelihood.

So the claim of the Assam Rifles that he is an activist of UNLF is surprising.
