Imphal, November 18 2009:
JACs against the killing of Sanjit and Rabina have said that no peace will ever be ushered in by issuing threats at gun-point.
A joint statement issued by the JACs termed it unfortunate that the government has propagated that normalcy has returned in the state instead of trying to solve the problems.
The JACs also stated that the agitation doesn't die down yet while asserting that the launch of another agitation has been readied.
It stated that all the Manipuris will be purged unless the present government is toppled.
It also expressed concerned over the coming out of some organisations against the movement.
It stated that the people have come to know who love the land more in this agitation.
Asserting that the people and civil society organisations of the state have every right to cleanse the dirt in the SPF government, the statement further pointed out that there is no guarantee that a small fire may cause big fire.
