Kolkatta, September 12, 2009: In an attempt to provide greater benefits to mobile users of Kolkata telecom circle, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (Calcutta Telephones) introduced 2 new recharge vouchers RC 124 and RC 249 applicable for its most popular GSM prepaid plan KOLKATA99 /249/ 249 Plus.

With these RCV, BSNL's existing and new subscriber of can enjoy local call as low as 5 paisa and STD calls just at 50 paisa to BSNL phone of East Region which include Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Andman Nicorbar, Bihar, Meghalay, Manipur, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Orissa state.

The STD calls to other network of East region would be 75paisa.The STD calls other than East Region will be Rs.1 for all networks.

Both RCV allow local call @ 5 paisa (Bsnl mobile to Bsnl mobile) and 20 paisa for BSNL landline and BSNL Rest of Bengal network The other network local call will be charged at 50 paisa.

The details as follows: RCV Rs.124 Talk Time-Rs.50 and Validity 30 days.

RCV Rs.249-Talk Time Rs.100 and Validity 60 Days.

Tariff Structure-: Local call to BSNL Mobile ( Kolkata circle)- 5 paisa per minute.

Local call to BSNL Landline and Mobile of West Bengal circle- 20 paisa per minute.Local call to Other Network (Kolkata)- 50 paisa per minute .

STD call with in East Region (own net)- 50 paisa per minute STD calls with in East Region (other net)- 75 paisa.

STD calls to all network other than East Region - Rs.1 per minute.

Other charges and terms & conditions as per existing prepaid plans.
