The Spirit of World cup 2002
Tomba had tickets for the Soccer World Cup 2002. As he sat down, Chaoba approached him and asked if anyone
was sitting in the seat next to him. "No," he replied. "The seat is empty." "Well, that's incredible," said Chaoba.
"Who in their right mind would have a seat like this for the World Cup 2002, this magnificent sporting event, and not use it?"
"Well, actually, the seat belongs to me," Tomba replied. "I was supposed to come with my wife, but she passed away.
This is the first world Cup that we have not attended together since we were married."
"Oh, I'm sorry to hear that," Chaoba said. "Couldn't you find someone else, a friend, a relative or even a neighbour, to take the seat?"
Tomba shook his head and replied: "No. They're all at the funeral."
