The Aisle of Life
Sakila N *
On a voyage
Into the sea of debris
Look for life in death souls
To escort us
On the aisle of life
Flesh of both sad and happy
Shows their gratitude
Asking for answers
Murmurs hit wall-to-wall
Blends with echoes of bells
To escort us
On the aisle of life
The leaders
Shines through us
To lead us further
To show us truth
Betrayed us on the way
On the aisle of life
The mind we believe
Fool us for awhile
End up with errors
Guide us towards pleasure
Convince us what is not true
Yet embrace it
Educate us in a 'oh!'
On the aisle of life
The eyes see
The beauty of truth
Neither good nor bad
Love and hate resides together
In our heart
Hatred boasts in vain
At last Love conquers all
On the aisle of life
On the aisle of life
Truth may be heard in a different melody
But it never fails to show its face
