Okendro Khundongbam *
I am poetry,
depended on nobody
never parasitic at all.
Living independently, that's what I like.
The poets, in the name of civilization
rectifying all my parts
Keep me disordered
and called me handsome.
Many lives of layperson, too
that killed mercilessly at any time
and charged any case you like
That's all you treat me.
You think of it, my friend
I who can't speak freely,
Lost my true identity.
tied my hands & legs
and handicapped, how can
I please as being handsome.
