Mr. World the Great
Jagadish Brajabaacy *
Hallo, my dear earth-dwellers!
The world is but a worthy book
In the eyes of researchers
Who seek the values of life.
This book consists of chapters
Varied as well as diverse
Each distinct of other parts –
Deserts, forests, oceans and space.
So fertile and productive
Is every part of this earth
That we find diamonds here
While they unearth gold there.
For the fight of a holy war
We find many holy books-
The Bible, Gita and Quran
To fight back the battle with.
This book is an end in itself
Standing like a golden tree
With variegated leaves
Sheltering all and sundry.
Yet it's a barren landscape
In the eyes of the dullard
Who lies idle all day long
Despite this new era.
