BJP Party's Prime Ministerial candidate arrives at Imphal on 08 Feb 2014 :: Pix - Deepak Oinam

Redundant jibe for BJP Pakhang Sharis: Since the very day Modi's political rally in Manipur had been announced the congress in Manipur has been howling a hue and cry against BJP. The president, MPCC has unnecessarily raked up the Bangkok Declaration of June 14, 2001 with a sole intention of suppressing BJP. While Modi was exposing the misdeeds of the Ibobi led Govt at Langjing Rally Mr Gaikhangam, President MPCC has blamed Mr Atal Behari Bajpayee (taunting as Pakhang Shari) for the Inferno that had razed Manipur in June 2001 and illogically accused Mr Modi for coming with the intention of burning Manipur again. Normally a Daredevil used to resort to unsubstantiated allegations for defeating his/her opponents.

It is a well known fact that congress also has a Pakhang Shari with Kinder-Garden mindset who is being followed blindly by the congress across the nation. Well, Bajpayee had already been included in the honoured club of celebrated bachelors viz Swami Vivekanada, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, Isaac Newton, Blaise Pascal, Leonardo Da Vinci etc. In retrospect we have come to know that INC was responsible for the infamous 2001 June Uprising.

It was the Congress who had (adopting the divide & rule tactic) incited NSCN (IM) to float the idea of Nagalim. Can Mr. Gaikhangam legitimately deny the allegation that he and other prominent congress leaders like Mr Rishang Keishing and Mr Francis Ngajokpa had signed the Memorandum to PM in favour of Nagalim? If not, they may please contribute to forgive and forget the unwanted incident and let the rest of us move beyond the June Uprising for a resurgent Manipur. Well, realizing its mistake BJP had revoked the Bangkok Declaration and apologized to the people of Manipur.

Credit for successful Modi-Rally: President MPCC has time and again expressed that the credit for the successful Modi-Rally should be given to the State Government as it became possible because of the adequate security provided by the State. This logic is not justified. Being a part of the Indian Federal System, constitutionally Manipur Govt had to provide the appropriate security for Modi Rally. Everybody knows that congress did their best to spoil the rally.

At least in my village congress local leaders (taking the advantage of Bundh & Boycotts called by various congress surrogates) were spreading negative rumour to not attend the rally. However the common people came out defying the rumour and made the rally a grand success. For this the credit should go to BJP Manipur Unit and definitely not to congress as claimed by MPCC.

Perfunctory Condemnation not up-to the Expectation: Sincerity and seriousness have eluded the perfunctory protest by our leaders against the attacks on NE-people across the main land India particularly in Delhi. If Mr Gaikhangam's condemnation for the attacks on NE-people in Delhi including Nido Tania's death and the sexual assault on a minor Manipuri girl is to be taken on its face value, why had the accused assaulter of film actress Momoko been provided a safe escape route?

Changed political scenario biases public thinking: MPCC president has taunted opposition parties for doing election campaign even before the poll date announced and claimed to have stopped inviting high profile national leaders for campaigning in Manipur. Who knows, the very invitation might have been overlooked. These days Mr Gaikhangam is, with a nervous tone, repeatedly preaching that earlier famous film personalities had come and campaigned for BJP candidates but could not win even a single seat.

This time also Modi-Rally will not affect the electoral prospect of congress in Manipur. Mr President, earlier the surface of the Earth was considered to be flat. Today also do you believe it to be a flat one? During the last two years political scenario has changed completely. Mainly because of non-stopped price rise, corruption, high profile scams like Coalgate, Railgate, CWG etc. the whole nation is now in the mood of throwing congress into the Indian Ocean. Mr President, it is better learn a lesson from how congress has been rooted out of Delhi and Rajasthan.

US cozying Modi as Congress is in a Free-Fall Mode: Presently what is going on in parliament proves Congress is in a Free-Fall Mode. Inept handling of Telengana issue has severely denigrated Indian Democracy. The PM, the Congress president and the vice president don't have control over their irresponsible MPs. In Delhi Assembly also situation is not favourable.

Mr Kejriwal said he would resign if Jan Lok Pal Bill can't be passed and subsequently has resigned today. See the contrast in Manipur. Megalomaniac Education Minister had promised and announced many good schemes for improving Education in Manipur. At times, just to remain in Lime Light he had even announced to resign if the promised schemes could not be implemented. However as his credential says he never respects his promises. In fact, he knows if he resigns he will never be able to come back again.

In Manipur many megalomaniac ministers are employing all tactics of exploiting the public for enhancing their personal interests. To mention a few, the Social welfare Minister has intentionally misled the House regarding the issue of Angawadi and a big scam has taken place in the appointment of SI & Jamadaars in Police Dept. However no appropriate actions have been taken till today against the responsible Ministers/bureaucrats.

Recently as Modi's popularity continues to rise many European and Australian leaders have initiated talks with Modi to work in tandem with him. However the continued ostracism by US was a real headache for him. On the other hand America has found itself being isolated with respect to Modi. Considering Modi's ever increasing popularity and speculating a regime change in Delhi, US has approached and met Modi yesterday in Ahmedabad. In all probability

America’s changed pro-Modi policy is going to enhance BJP's electoral prospect for 2014 Parliamentary Election. Once Modi led NDA Govt is formed in Delhi the countdown for dumping the Ibobi led puppet govt into the Loktak will be started.
