Importance of passion for career
Ranjan K Baruah *
Passion is something which we do out of our interest. All of us have some hobbies and we like to perform them, similarly we must try to follow our passion to be successful in life. Instead of following passion many are trying to follow job where there is money. Success does not come over night and hence everyone needs to have perseverance and patience.
Following passion is rare amongst many students and young people who do not follow passion might be frustrated in future. There must be strategic planning/ effective career planning to become successful. People who have followed passion are always successful and happy in their life.
Most of us have seen a movie named '3 idiots'. This movie tells us how passion is important in life. If we follow our passion then everyday would be a happy day for us. Initially there might be some challenges but with planning and dedication and determination we can become successful. Students need to take SWOT analysis to identify the strengths and weaknesses.
I would like to make an appeal to aspirants and students to have faith on themselves and have confidence because following passion is difficult but not impossible. I can assure that if a person follows their passion with planning then s/he is sure to be successful in life. Don’t listen to negative people because they will advice negatively, read positive stories and be positive and act positive.
