I and You
Okendro Khundongbam *
Man, you exist
because a woman I'm
And exist I because of you.
But the sound of the storm arrives,
at the sound of the gunfire,
and the flash of the sword,
in panic ran I agog for you.
But you keep a blind eye
When I'm in distress.
At your command
won't dance I anymore,
also nor am I dancer.
To fulfil you heart's desire
danced I.
But,
I know Your fate,
tell me not again
that you love me.
Flirt not that
I'm tender like a flower.
Won't dare I the risk again,
say not that I'm kind
the torch won't be lit.
