Freedom of Mind
Poireinganba Ningomba *
When the mind's with freedom,
And the body's without bondages,
Of petty orders and commands –
Thy'll attain the highest fame!
When petty cares and highest ambitions,
Of nobles' soul whom we're being loved,
Becomes thy's burden and worries –
Thy'll never attain fame!
And, when the mind's fill up with,
Troubling thoughts of miseries,
Even if thy's free from bondages –
Thy'll seldom attain fame!
Above all pretty things,
Diamond castles or marble fences;
Above all pleasant thoughts –
Freedom of mind is the best!
