Everyone is a thief
Depiya Thoudam *
Before the close of day
Pack all your belongings
Make sure they are home
I bet you never know
Only the uncertain is certain
Sooner the better you know
Everyone is a thief
Only the owner doesn't steal
The wheels of thoughts
Steered by time and space
Driving only in a direction
Is never a guarantee
Poor or rich, Sad or Happiness
Though different as night and day
Yet each follows one another
Like two sides of the same coin
That poor guy today
Might become rich tomorrow
But if incautious and inattentive
Are his companions, then for sure
Even if his wealth piled up
Taller than the Mount Everest
Soon he becomes a prey
To those merciless wolves of poor
So never part with cautiousness
Care for yourself and your belongings
Sooner the better you know
Everyone is a thief
Only the owner doesn't steal.
