Deep purple & Scorpions
I'm studying B.B.M here in b'lore.I've been living here for
nearly two years and I absolutely love it.
Ever since I heard that the purple were coming, I was like, "Got to see
this one". I thought that if i miss this, my friends will curse me
back in imphal. I bought myself a ticket and went as early I as
can with my friends. we were lucky that we went early coz it soon got
jam packed with people there. Me and my frens ran as soon as
we got our tickets checked. We ran up at the front of the Rs 250
ticket area but as soon as they came out the whole crowd went
berserk. They started playin' their famous songs like 'ted the mechanic', 'smoke on the water' and 'highway star'.
The whole crowd went wild. There was hardly any place to breath but for my love of the band I enjoyed myself. I liked
all of the members. They showed true showmanship. The drummer, lead
guitarist, vocalist everyone was damn good. My dream to see them
was fulfilled.I thanked god and left the area. On my way back I was
singing their songs and more so for the next two days.
I came back home from vacation after the turmoil in
manipur. I heard from my frens again that the scorpions are
comnig to B'lore. I thanked god again for making me
get another chance to see another concert.
I was at the front, enjoying every moment, singing all their songs along with them.
Their songs were performed mostly in accoustics as they were touring
for their accoustica album. Crowd singing their songs filled up the whole palace ground and the
neighbouring areas. The lead guitarist's solo was too good showing
some fast work with his fingers. The drummer was full of energy.
I was looking at the lead guitarists move his fingers as I like
lead guitar myself. He completely bewitched me. To tell u the
truth all of them was worth watching.I thought that my money
didn't go wasted and i was damn happy that i went for it.
I have been singing scorpion's songs ever since I started listening to music.
