Changes that the time brings
Chinglembi Shagolsem *
It was 12 years ago when they drove her to a new accommodation.
And she considered it as her second home.
That's where she has been throughout her life.
Suddenly, the poetess saw a young boy who used to ride a bicycle
Now rides a Royal Enfield.
Moreover, a small girl that played with dolls had grown up
To be a damsel ready to face the world.
Time has brought her again to the same place.
The house remains the same with its unrenovated structure.
Now, the girl who is in her late 20s ponders
And reflects on how 12 years of her life had been passed in the blink of an eye.
